Jewellery Care Guide

Your Avyoraa jewellery is crafted with care and deserves to be maintained with love. Follow these simple tips to keep your pieces looking as beautiful as the day they arrived.

💼 Storage

Proper storage is the single most important step in jewellery care:

Separate Storage
Store each piece in its own soft pouch or section of a jewellery box to prevent scratching and tangling.
Anti-Tarnish Strips
Place anti-tarnish strips in your jewellery box or pouch to absorb moisture and slow oxidation.
Airtight Zip Bags
For long-term storage, keep pieces in airtight zip bags (with the air squeezed out) to minimise oxidation.
Away from Humidity
Never store jewellery in bathrooms. Keep in a bedroom drawer or on a dresser away from moisture.

✨ Cleaning

Regular, gentle cleaning will keep your pieces gleaming:

Daily Wipe-Down
After each wear, gently wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove skin oils and dirt.
Light Tarnish
For light tarnish, dampen a soft cloth with warm water and gently rub. Dry immediately — never air-dry plated jewellery.
Stubborn Tarnish

  • −Avoid ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemical solutions
  • −Do not store in humid bathrooms or near windows

Tarnishing is a natural chemical reaction between metals and air/moisture. While it can't be completely prevented, you can significantly slow it down:

✨ How to Restore Shine

If your jewellery has lost its lustre, try these steps:

  1. Gently rub the piece with a soft jewellery polishing cloth in a circular motion.
  2. For stubborn dullness, apply a tiny amount of white toothpaste on a soft cloth and rub gently. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
  3. Allow the piece to air-dry completely before storing.
